With faculty roles at renowned institutions like the University of Toronto and the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Dr. Uy now serves as Associate Professor of Surgery and Chief of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Uy is a respected educator, earning awards such as the F. Griffith Pearson Fellow Teacher Award and the Bednarz Mentorship Award.
