Manila Central University proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Mr. Robin Vergara, BSN Batch 2011, who has been recognized as one of the Top 10 finalists for the Emerging Global Filipino Icon 2026.
Selected from nearly 200 global entries, Mr. Vergara’s inclusion among the finalists highlights not only his professional excellence but also his unwavering commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others—particularly children with special needs.
Currently based in Dubai, Mr. Vergara is a Certified Behavior Analyst and serves as the Medical Director of ABLE UK, where he has dedicated over a decade to advancing therapy and support for children with autism and developmental conditions. His work centers on improving access to quality care, developing individualized interventions, and empowering families through evidence-based practices.
Beyond his clinical role, he is also the driving force behind The Behaviour Essentials FZE LLC, where he provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training to professionals across the globe. Through this platform, he actively mentors Filipino practitioners, helping expand the reach of specialized care and elevating the standards of practice within the field.
His journey reflects a deep sense of purpose—transforming expertise into impact, and passion into service. As a Centralino, Mr. Vergara embodies the University’s commitment to producing globally competitive professionals who lead with compassion and excellence.
As part of the final selection process, candidates will undergo a rigorous panel discussion prior to the awarding ceremony. The Emerging Global Filipino Icon 2026 happened last January 31, 2026, at the Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai.
