Mr. Mesina’s nursing career began with life-saving efforts at Lady of Lourdes Hospital and The Medical City. In 2010, driven by a commitment to intensive care, he honed his skills in Norway at Kongsberg and Diakonhjemmet Hospital.
After earning a master’s degree in Intensive Care Nursing from Oslo Metropolitan University, he became an intensive care nurse and guest lecturer.
Recently, Mr. Mesina achieved a significant career highlight by presenting his abstract, โThe functional status trajectories of ICU survivors,โ at the 8th European Conference on Weaning and Rehabilitation in Critically ill patients in Belfast, UK.
Simultaneously, he published his first Ph.D. paper, “Long-term functional disabilities in Intensive Care Unit Survivors โ A prospective cohort study.”
Currently, he is contributing significantly as an Intensive Care Nurse at Oslo University Hospital while pursuing a Ph.D. in medicine and health sciences at the University of Oslo.
