She is a tireless advocate, recognized for her fight against discriminatory practices towards foreign nurses, leading to the historic first Global Summit of Filipino nurses in 2014, uniting nurses from around the world.
Dr. Miraflor’s career has spanned teaching, consulting, and leadership roles at prestigious institutions like Cook County Medical Center and USC. A renowned speaker and mentor, she shares her expertise, inspiring future generations.
Even in retirement, Dr. Miraflor and her husband continue to serve their community through their ministry work. Her legacy is one of excellence and service, reminding all nurses of the power of collective action, unwavering dedication, and making a difference in the world!
