Ms. Ellen Grace G. Ledesma

Ms. Ellen Grace G. Ledesma is a Registered Nurse in the Philippines, and a 2010 graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is currently undergoing post-graduate studies on Master of International Health from the University of the Philippines

Her career spans with 12-years’ experience in the public health and humanitarian works, in both developmental and emergency response contexts. She firmly believes that it is an honor to dedicate your life serving humanity, and helping people who are in need, especially in disasters and humanitarian crisis.

She started her humanitarian career with Philippine Red Cross from 2012 to 2022 wherein she has managed different Community-based Health and Disaster Risk Reduction Projects, aiming to build a healthier, safer, and resilient communities. Her engagement with PRC has earned her vast experiences in leading health response activities during disasters and disease outbreaks such as dengue, measles and polio outbreaks in the Philippines. The COVID-19 pandemic response has earned her involvement in setting up Emergency Field Hospital for COVID-19, and establishment and operationalization of COVID-19 Vaccination Centers and Mobile Vaccination Clinics nationwide.

In 2022, she served as the Health Emergency Consultant of UNICEF Philippines for Super Typhoon Rai (Odette) Response and Early Recovery in the CARAGA Region, wherein she managed and coordinated health response interventions and early recovery activities. She is currently serving as the Senior Health Officer of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies managing programs and projects on health and WASH.
