In celebration of its 121st founding anniversary, Manila Central University, through the External Affairs Office, successfully held the Grand Alumni Homecoming on December 5, 2025, at the Purple Owl Complex. The event served as a meaningful reunion of Centralinos from different batches and academic programs, reaffirming lifelong ties between the University and its alumni.
A total of 79 participants attended the homecoming, composed of 62 registered alumni and 17 walk-in participants. Alumni from various colleges, alumni associations, and institutional partners gathered in a festive and engaging atmosphere that reflected strong alumni engagement and continued support for the University.
The Grand Alumni Homecoming aimed to reunite alumni, strengthen alumni relations, and encourage active participation in institutional programs and initiatives. Fellowship activities, recognition of alumni associations, and interactive moments throughout the program fostered camaraderie, unity, and renewed institutional loyalty among participants.
One of the highlights of the event was the distribution of raffle prizes and donated items, made possible through the generosity of alumni associations, partner organizations, and University offices. The activity also featured a partnership with National Bookstore, which provided attendees with a free upgrade to the Laking National Plus Card, adding value and appreciation to the alumni experience.
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with alumni expressing appreciation for the well-organized program, opportunities for meaningful interaction, and the generosity reflected in the raffle prizes and giveaways. Many noted that the event successfully strengthened connections across different batches and colleges.
Overall, the 121st Grand Alumni Homecoming reinforced the vital role of alumni partnerships in sustaining institutional growth, community building, and shared pride in Manila Central University. The event stands as a testament to the enduring Centralino spirit—one rooted in unity, service, and excellence.
Moving forward, the University looks to further enhance future alumni activities by improving early registration processes, introducing more interactive networking segments, strengthening partnerships with alumni associations and external sponsors, and allocating contingency resources to address unforeseen expenses.
